Privacy Policy

This policy applies to the "Deep Dives Lore" application and the website deepdiveslore.stream (home).

What the application accesses

The application asks the channel owner to sign in with Google and grant the YouTube upload permission (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.upload). This lets it upload videos and set their title, description, thumbnail and privacy status on the owner's own YouTube channel. It does not access any other Google data, and it does not access other users' data.

How data is used and stored

The OAuth access and refresh tokens are used only to perform those uploads. They are stored locally on the channel owner's own computer, are never sent to any server other than Google's, and are never shared, sold, or used for advertising. Video files and scripts are produced and kept by the owner. This website does not use cookies, analytics, or tracking, and does not collect personal information from visitors.

Google API Services User Data Policy

Deep Dives Lore's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

YouTube API Services

The application uses YouTube API Services. By using it, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's privacy practices are described in the Google Privacy Policy.

Retention and revoking access

Tokens are kept only as long as the owner chooses to keep the application connected. Access can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, and deleting the local token file removes the stored credentials. You can also request deletion of any data we hold about you by emailing us.
